We opened the deli in May this year to share our love of good food with the local community, and offer an outlet where everyone could find quality items for everyday and special occasions.

Having run the restaurant in the village for 12 years, which we reluctantly sold due to the pressures of combining raising a young family with running a successful business 24/7, we were looking for an opportunity to continue our passion in a more family friendly way... The idea of a deli seemed like the perfect way forward, and so The Deli @ Davenham was born!!

Right from the start we have strived to offer a wide range of goods that can be enjoyed on many levels, sourcing from a variety of local, national and continental suppliers. Having said that, it is pretty hard trying to squeeze everything we have found into our little shop!

If you find we don't stock a favourite of yours, just ask us and we will do all we can to source it and order it especially for you. In fact some of our latest new stuff has been from your suggestions and feedback, but we are always looking at how to improve and increase what we can offer.

We have already established a strong reputation (especially for our butties it seems!), so if you're into good food you should be into our deli!!
